Gladstone Camp Meeting
July 19-23, 2016 ~ Called Together...Members in Ministry

We hope you can join us for camp meeting this year! There is a special blessing that God gives as we fellowship, worship, and work together, and this becomes even more significant as we move closer to the return of Christ.

You will be blessed each evening as Mike Tucker unpacks the Bible stories of salvation. Mike very recently lost his wife and ministry associate, Gayle, but is still wants to share his passion for Jesus' sacrifice and God’s gift of salvation. You will not want to miss any of the evening meetings! Each morning during the devotional time, our administrative team will be taking a look at the church just after Jesus returned to heaven. There are powerful parallels found in those chapters from the book of Acts that are significant for us today.

Our Bible Study time at 9:00 am with Carl Cosaert will give you a whole new insight into the mentoring, modeling, and ministry of Paul and Timothy. Cosaert, one of our professors from Walla Walla University, will share insights from the second book of Timothy. Again, this will be a blessing each day as you hear the God-inspired thoughts shared from this small book of the New Testament.

I can’t begin to tell you which workshops you need to attend as there are so many options and exciting topics being covered! Alice Busch will be coming back this year to share her wealth of knowledge on the PNW and the potential we have for earthquakes in this region, as well as what you can do to help be prepared for such an event. Hans Diehl of CHIP fame will be presenting this year as well. Hear his take on how to prevent and reverse killer diseases with your fork and knife.

Our younger members will enjoy a variety of events, activities, and worship opportunities throughout the week. The Birth through age 10 group will experience the adventure of living in God's family at Son Creek Junction, while the 5-8 graders enjoy stories by Dick Duerksen as well as playing, serving, and worshiping together.

Our Youth team is working hard to put together a week highschoolers will enjoy with activities, adventures, great music, and a great message all rolled into one. And our Young Adults team is going into the unknown by planning not only evening programming this year, but also activities during the daylight hours! Hiking, serving, and playing are all on the menu!

Learn about each of the speakers, the topics, and when and where they will be happening by clicking on the Daily Schedule button at left.

We hope you can join us this year and that you will enjoy your time as you wander our historic grounds!

The Evangelism Offering goal for camp meeting this year is $80,000. The intent for these funds will be to (1) Support local churches in holding outreach events during the last half of the year; (2) Assist in developing training support for Bible workers throughout our conference; (3) Fund our Youth Rush/Magabook summer program giving students and young adults an opportunity to do literature evangelism work during the summer.

Education Offering (Youth Education Scholarship)
Thursday, July 21 - Plaza Pavilion
The Education offering will be used to provide scholarships for Adventist students who may need some financial assistance to attend our Oregon Conference Adventist Schools. There will be young people, this school year, that will choose to live forever with a loving God in a perfect place because of your support for this offering. This offering will be taken up at the Thursday evening meeting. You may still give online through the Oregon Conference website or directly through your local church (K-12 scholarship fund).

¡Muy bienvenido Campestre Hispano 2016!
Julio 14-16, 2016 ~ Familias Llamadas Por Dios
